Donations & Sponsorships

Our Purpose:

The primary purpose of the Tehachapi Symphony Orchestra is to facilitate the presentation of classical music to the community. The Symphony also strives to:

  • Foster civic culture and educational interest in music by presenting concerts to the community.

  • Ensure that the entire community, regardless of income level, has access to classical music performances by providing concerts for free (with voluntary donations accepted at the door).

  • Provide a forum for community musicians to hone their skills and perform for the public.

  • Encourage and recognize the musical youth of the community and present young artists to the public.

Orchestra members donate their own time to rehearse and perform for the community. It takes a substantial amount of money to present these free concerts. The orchestra's budget is about $40,000 per season. Our budget goes toward paying our conductor, hiring first-class soloists, filling vacant instrumental chairs, obtaining sheet music, and renting rehearsal and performance sites.

Help us continue to provide free live classical music in our community by sending your tax-deductible donation.

The following are options for individuals donating to our orchestra: find an option that works for you!

Our orchestra is a 501(c)3 organization. We will happily acknowledge your donation for tax purposes.
